After graduating from the College of Charleston, founder Wyatt Morris fell into an unexpected part-time job that introduced him to acai bowls. Though a computer science degree was not the anticipated path towards running an acai food truck, Wyatt found himself unable to shake the concept of this real, nourishing superfood. So, he did what any normal person would do: he spent the next several months merging his technology background with his vision for a company that fully embraced the communion of food, nutrition, art, and well-being and created Tres Palmas Acai.
Just a year later, Wyatt and his new business partner, Simon, have opened a brick-and-mortar location at 700 South Shelmore Blvd. in Mount Pleasant, SC. The two believe that we should all be able to satisfy our appetite while remaining true to the wants and needs of our bodies.
Since 2018, Tres Palmas has expanded from a one-man operation to a well known health conscious brand revolutionizing this trendy, superfood snack. Tres Palmas is Charleston’s go-to acai stop, connecting the Holy City and surrounding folk with the highest quality, most delicious, and most authentic acai bowls outside of Brazil. Come to the shop and see what’s up!

Acai (pronounced ah-sigh-ee) is a berry native to the South American rainforest. Technically it’s core pit makes it a “drupe”, not a berry. Aside from their nutrient dense properties of healthy fat, carbs and fiber, their plant derived anthocyanins give them their vibrant purple color and antioxidant rich nature.
Of course! We recommend starting with the OG Bowl and we can help guide you from there.
